can Honda navigation be added to my new Honda CRV?

Not in a practical sense. Use your smart phone or tablet.

If you take it to a car audio/video/alarm shop, definitely. It'll be pricey though. I love using Android Auto and am sure Apple Carplay is decent (though you're stuck with Apple Maps...).

Aftermarket systems that involve cutting into your cars wiring are scary and this invites all kinds of really bad problems.

The upgrade to a model that has navigation would cost thousands more even if the dealer allowed it. The phone is so much cheaper and it is easy to upgrade. Try that with a built in system!
