im guessing your truck is a 5.0 like my 98 AWD, correct? i need to know the engine you got in her first.

Engine has to come out of V8 models. Once out remove the retaining bolts. DO NOT USE A SCREWDRIVER OR PRY ON THE PAN BY PLACING ANYTHING BETWEEN THE PAN AND THE BLOCK. Use a rubber hammer to bang it loose. If you bend it, forget it.
