Whistle from air duct

Asked by May 31, 2017 at 07:04 PM about the 1999 Mazda Millenia 4 Dr S Supercharged Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently got my sparkplugs changed and i have
the 2.3 supercharged. So that means you have to
remove the rear intercooler I guess. So about a
week later it start making this ridiculously whistle
noise. Only stop s when I'm really on the gas pedal.
Never made this noise before. Mechanic said
needs airduct kit. I tried to seal it my self  still
Nada. Anybody ever experience this?? And also
what is a insulator and where on these miller cycle
engines??

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all the hoses in that area the could have been disturbed or unhooked.
