My engine goes off while in traffic

Pls while driving in traffic for long
then the engine goes off. I have to
wait for about 30 mins before it can
start. Pls help.

Do have more details for ex. Check engine or battery symbol or any other lights on your dash board? When the car dies it's all power lost or does the car crank at all.you should give as much info. as possible so others can help. Good luck. I also have a 02 mazda protege DX and I love it
