Rough Idol when cold starting

When engine i started from cold engine idol is erratic and rough. when engine is warm idol is ok. Computor anal. tell me nothing is wrong have changed the oxygen censor. This codition will last up till the time that the engine has reached running temp. Had mobile mechanic take a look only to be told its the oxygen censor. if I drive to a Service centre by the time I arrive it running fine.  Hope someone can throw a bit of light on this

Had same problem last winter. The intake upper and lower manifold gaskets might be bad and need replacement. They can when engine is cold. When engine warms up, gaskets (o-rings) expand and seal and stop leak. You are also probably experiencing a lean condition as well. You can also check the wire harness going into the ec Located above the engine going into the firewall. Check the green-white wire located on the far right (looking at it from the front of the car) and see if there are any kinks or broken wire. this is a common spot for the wire to break and cause misfires on number 1 cylinder. Wire harness is piece of crap
