I have 2001 Mazda tribute with 1980CC but its fuel consumption is high to about 6Km for 1 Litre of petrol,is this normal???If not what should i do?

I bough my car with 27,990Km Miliage and arrived from Japan last month,i filled
it with 60 litres of Petrol and ended Travelling 517Km only, i continued making
follow up and i found that i can move 6Km per Litre something i find strange
due to its engine capacity

You problem is horsepower to weight ratio. The Tribute is to heavy of a vehicle to use an engine that small. I have had several 4 cylinder vehicles and V6 counter parts and the V6 always got better fuel economy

I just noticed that it is a 4WD. There is nothing you can do to help fuel economy.
