Our 2003 Mazda 6 idles horrible at start up.

Asked by GWB27 Jan 30, 2016 at 07:12 PM about the 2003 Mazda MAZDA6 4 Dr i Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

RPMs surge up and down but after about 1-2 minutes it runs perfect. We have
replaced the fuel censor and throttle body and tried to replace the PCV but
couldn't get it off. Someone here mentioned having them update the power
control module. Anyone have info that could help, or know how much that
might cost? Thanks!

Sorry, I meant mass air flow sensor, not fuel sensor.
