04 Mazda mpv o/d light flashes

Driving the van and the o/d light started
flashing. Then noticed the check engine light
came on. Before I could get pulled over,
white smoke started coming out from the
engine compartment and filled the inside of
the van with smoke with a rubber smell

O/D light means the transmission was overheating. Most probably due to your engine overheating. Hence the white smoke. Find the culprit, possible a leak somewhere.

Se thing happened to mine did u ever get answer ? I have herd it was a electrical problem .
