2018 GMC Acadia

Asked by DrewMinnis Jul 15, 2019 at 04:24 PM about the 2018 GMC Acadia SLT-2 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, I have a 2018 GMC Acadia and every time I
go to the car wash water gets in the back. I have
taken it to my dealership and they adjusted the
automatic lift gate and it seemed to fix the problem
but now it is back and I am going to everything to
not take it back. It is a Certified GM dealership and
I have had this car for over year. Also, it does not
have a sun roof...

Mine was doing the same thing. It was actually the seal around the taillight at the top of the window on the lift gate that was allowing the water to get it. Have that seal replaced and it shouldn’t leak anymore.
