Why 2001 navigator have engine problems after changing 7 ignition coils and spark plugs.

5.4 intech motor.Why does a 2001 navigator have engine problems after changing 7 ignition coils and spark plugs. in the motor.. The diagnostic read that only #6 was misfiring. I could not access #8 because the e.g.r. pipe was directly in the way. Still sputtering and losing power going uphill. Need suggestions please

This is not the answer, cats are fine and misfire still on the same cylinder... Change the plug on the missing cylinder, run for ten minutes, after cooling (VERY IMPORTANT) remove the plug and examine. if the sparkplug is totally clean, not even a burnt fuel smell, your injector is bad ! Change it and you'll be gravy :-)

Check the pic hose Goin from passenger side to in take it burns hole in it I did the same changed out bunch plugs throwing codes like 6 all it was a 3$ hose I got .....smh

Can you take a picture of hose on passanger side that goes to intake that you replace for $3.00 I have the same issue as you did. Thanks Robert
