Starting issues

My Lincoln LS 01 will crank now but won't start, I
put a new battery and fuel pump in an I checked
the fuses an relay, an I checked my inertia the
button is all the way down. What could be wrong.

My first thought was your security system, but, my info says your security system is a starter disable. If starter cranks, it may not be your security system? Check the basics. Have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs, if spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. Any applicable trouble codes?
Yea because I put a brand new fuel pump in but it was my first time putting a fuel pump in, so I wonder if it's right I put it on like I took it off. The little t bag thing bent a little. But it was the only way to get it in with the floater.
Before this there were mornings that the car would take a min to start , then the fuel pump went out and battery was dead. What if I take neg cable off to touch positive cable.
