What do I need to get done?

My 98 ford escort is making like a thud
noise or a whomp noise, sounds like it is
coming from the passenger front tire?  What
could this be? And it doesn't make the
steering wheel shake too bad, but it is a loud
whomping noise. Sounds like either the tire
isn't balanced or? I have no idea? HELP!

Do you know what maybe it is Tom? Because I've had people say its just the tire isn't weighted and then some say it just may be the wheel bearings..
