Slide in Camper for 2018 Chevy Silverado High Country

Hi... I have a 2018 Chevy Silverado High Country 1500
Crew Cab Short Box... It has  6.3 8 Speed Automatic... I
have been told by Dealer I can carry a Slide in Camper
with Wet Weight up to 2550 Pounds... Have seen this
information on the Door, & have seen Slide in Campers on
Trucks like mine... I have found several nice campers my
Wife & I like that meet those standards... Today I learned
about the Tag in Glove Box, & when I looked , the
information said,  “ Do not put Slide In Campers in this
Truck “... Does anyone have information about this..??

That 2550 number does not sound right for a 1/2 ton truck. I would think you would need at least a 3/4 ton to carry that much in the bed.
