Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This is for an Automatic Transmission My girlfriend bought the car and when you put
the selector in R it idles and will not back up i was told to check the TCU fuse i
swapped it out with a new one and had no effect i was then told to check the
adjustment on the selector not sure how to do that any information would be nice not
sure what else to do but swap the trans fluid is new no foul odor as a mechanic it is
puzzling me on what could cause this have not had too much training with Auto trans i
only drive manual and i will continue till i die i wish she could drive manual because i
would not be having this problem please help thank you

the fluid level is between the hash marks running in park with the parking brake set...at the lower hash mark COLD and at the upper hash mark HOT~...if the fluid is low it's leaking from somewhere~ the flexible connection to the radiator is our first suspect~

The fluid level is completely fine checked on flat level surface engine up to temp everything fluidwise is perfect
