Why is my car marking Hot

Question type: General

I recently bought a 99 ford Taurus wagon
when I drive it it'll go for a short while and
move up to the Hot gauge more when I
come to a stop sometimes if I put it in park
it'll stop it from going way up past the red
mark I've replaced the thermostat nd
overflow bucket so far aswell as done a
radiator flush I need help can somebody tell
me what other possibilities it can Be?
