My Kia is beeping help!!

My Kia 2002 is beeping when i put the key in the ignition, and the beeping is none stop it
is always beeping even when i drive i dont know what happen to it please help!!

Try this. It's my Chicken Soup approach because it couldn't hurt. Unlock the doors, put the key in your pocket. Disconnect the battery for about a half hour. This will reset the ECU and hopefully the horn.

Agree,with Bmark,if it doe,s not work you may need to take it to kia dealer to have it fixed.

The hood might be open. There is not a dashboard indicator light for the hood, but there is a light for the doors and the trunk. Try pressing down on the hood to snap it shut. The chimes will stop.

It’s the door ajar switch...it’s going bad.... drive slowly in the neighborhood with the door slightly open and reach down and depress the switch attached to the car, if the alarm stops, either buy a new switch or use a thick piece of tape, attached to the door, to depress the switch fully when the door is shut until you can get a new switch installed.
