Asked by vallejotex Dec 30, 2013 at 07:28 PM about the 2003 Kia Spectra LS

Question type: General

the tail lights just stopped working, brake lights and headlights work fine. no power to tail light fuses under hood nor inside panel. Where does the power come from so that I can start tracing it. Starter  and Alternator are working fine, just don't know where to start on this one. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated, Thanks JV

check for "brown power" for A.) a battery older than five cannot hold it's own.B.) the Black cable connection wirebrush the lug and the chassis to remove all corrosion and put them together to restore the full 12.5 volts to operate the ECU and the fuel pump relay....etc....and tail lights...the chassis ground needs to see the black wire off the bulb..y'know~
