My lights(all) go off and on and the dinger dings. They do this for a while stop and then stop again as if it is a warning. just put new headlight in and had to take battery out. Also had it detailed so thought a button got pushed but that is not it.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed headlight, took battery out and put back and had it cleaned.  Lights flash off and on (head, tail,
clock and dash) and the dingy dings.  Tried all buttons.  Could this have something to do with the
headlight?

Anyone know what causes this? Just bought a kia spectra tonight and it's doing exactly this thing suddenly. Nobody else on Google seems to have this problem except in this one thread.

Update for anyone else that may experience this, it's the anti theft system. It activates when the battery is removed or disconnected.
