If you have a bad water pump it will actually leak fluid from the bottom of the water pump housing. A bad head gasket can cause water to get in your oil OR oil in your water. water in your oil will look like a chocolate milk shake. head gasket can cause overheating. and the obvious constant adding water to the radiator.
