Let the clutch dry out or try slipping it a bit which will warm it up and help it dry faster. If you got oil on it you may need a new clutch.

I have a 63 c10. It has been in my family since new. It set for apps 10 years in a controlled environment. My dad passed and left it for me. I have had a shop here in Columbus ga go through it and replace everything it needed. It has a 283 with three on the tree. Now the clutch is so stiff it is almost impossible to drive. The shop is telling me this is normal because it’s 58 years old. Also the 63 only is different and requires a three finger pressure plate and the clutch plate is a different size. If this correct. And could the clutch return spring have anything to do with it?
