62 c10 straight 6 trouble

I have a 62 C10 straight 6 I have replaced
the starter distributor points rotor button cap
and wires the motor will turn over fine until it
gets fuel that will kind of jerk and have
trouble turning could it be the battery or that
it jumped timing?

I tried that and it started backfiring out the carb every stroke so it was in time still I believe
