What gas should I use in my 2017 Kia Niro?

a new engine is made to accept ethanol blends , I don't think you have to worry about it

^^ That is true, modern engines are built to accept gasoline with less than 15% ethanol, I'd also suggest consulting your owners manual for further information on what fuels are acceptable.

Owner's manual specifically says not to exceed 15% ethanol and to avoid it whenever possible. Regular unleaded is the best choice; higher octane will work but is completely unnecessary and provides no advantage or benefits (and may in fact decrease MPG).
