1991 Jeep Wrangler. The Good, Bad & Ugly?
I want to buy a Jeep Wrangler, it's a 1991 straight-6
The guys where my wife works say that year sux,
they also said it about a 1994 I wanted so what's up
(What Year do I need to get, and yes I would like
one between 1989-2002 maybe) plz help everyone

Jeep owners can be a little stuck-up about there Jeeps, I know this first hand, my ex-wife has 2 of them and they are built for taking a beating. Any "Hard Core" Jeeper has a strong opinion about what the best year is. If you want a Jeep and you like the 91, get it. that motor is solid. then after you are in the "Jeep Club" awhile you can decide from there what to get next. Jeeps are Jeeps, I'm in Arizona - we have them everywhere, all years and models, they are purpose built and perform as needed. - hope this helps

It all depends what you are looking for man. The straight 6 is an amazing engine and is basically bullet proof. I had an '87 with the 4.2L I6, which doesn't have quite as much power as the 4.0L and also has a carb. '91 onward have the 4.0L I6. Jeeps are fun. Don't worry about one year being better than another. All that matters is what you are looking to get out of it. Find a good deal on one in good shape and run with it. I've run through an '87, '07, and currently in an '11 Unlimited. Find the one that fits you.
