Fuel starving issue

305 fires up runs strong till overdrive I guess around 40mph or overdrive it starts starving for fuel. New fuel pump, filter distributer. Gonna check plugs wires and 02 sensor tomorrow. Any other tips greatly appreciated

Check the cap, rotor, plugs and ignition timing. If it is not getting enough fuel the carburetor may need a rebuild.
