Question type: General

I bought a 2017 CR-V EXL.  I did not get the radio serial number or radio code.  Does the 2017 require one if the battery is disconnected

I assume you bought this new through a dealership? If so they should be able to help you out. A lot of these newer cars do require a code if the battery is disconnected. If it's not included in all your paperwork then talk to whoever sold it to you.

Insignia, I've just bought my 2017 CR-V and I didn't get the radio code nor serial number. I've asked the salesman and he had no idea.

Same from the dealership where I bought my new car. There MAY be a sticker in or around the glove box with the codes Or, you can get the radio to display the radio serial number on the radio display. Follow directions here: https://radio-navicode.honda.com/?src=inq
