How to get my car to start again>>

Asked by Guru9D15C Jun 04, 2017 at 03:27 PM about the 2006 Opel Corsa D

Question type: General

i recently had a problem with my cars crankposition sensor. i took it out and
cleant it and the car was fine for about a week. i cleant the engine and it
started up straight after however it sounded like it had a missfire, if i would
try and rev the car it would sound like its wanting to cut out. now(about a
week later) the car wont start at all. it just swings but doesnt turn over. not
sure what the problem may be??

also there is some problem with the fuel injector, when i try rev the car the revs go up perfectly but when i let go of the accelerator the revs drop a bit but they stay pretty high still. not sure what this may be...?took a look at the springs but they seem fine.

The Crank angle wheel was an add on to these cars. Check that the Crank Angle Rotor where the sensor operates from is OK. The key way that it mounts onto gets worn and therefore won't lock the Rotor in place. This will have to be seen to.
