Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi

I've recently noticed my tail light (position lamp), doesn't work in the right side.
I've had a 12v tester on the connector to the wiring, and found only brakelight,
indicator, reverse light, and fog light working (number plate light works, fuse
ok).
I have the same issue when connecting a trailer - everything works, except
the damn position light in right side missing entirely.

What, or where, is my problem?

Connector as shown from the left; rear position light, brake (red), grounding,
reverse (white), foglight (orange), indicator (yellow) according to my markings.

turned out to be a wire that was corroded beneath the rear license plate light
