My 1993 Jeep Wrangler (4 cyl) is having high RPM issues when I start it?

Asked by djsuchnsuch2004 Oct 01, 2012 at 05:29 PM about the 1993 Jeep Wrangler Renegade

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I start my Jeep it automatically jumps to 6000 rpm's.  It will not slow down at all.  Gas pedal is not stuck, throttle cable is ok, and belts seem to be ok.  Any reason for this???
