Heater, Radio, and Wipers

I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee. I live and Michigan
and for the past week the temperature has been in
the 10's or lower. I noticed that when I started the
jeep to warm up the heater, radio, and wipers
would not work. After the jeep had been running
for about a half hour all three kicked in and started
working. I also took notice the only setting for the
heater blower that works is high. Anything else and
it just turns off. Finally this morning I started the
jeep to warm up. None of the three otems ever
turned on. So I turned the heater blower to OFF and
the radio turned on. After fiddling with it longer I
found that only the radio and wipers would work if I
turned the heater blower to OFF. Then finally all
three worked again. Normally I would tough it out,
but I get up too early as it is to go to work, and it is
too cold to drive for a half hour like that. Help?

This sounds like the blower motor resistor, an electrical part under the dash. Local parts stores will carry it. I live in the U.P. sitting here at 1 degree this morning...

I had the same issue , turned out to be the ignition switch again !!! As I just replaced it last year . Ive got a 93 cherokee sport 4.0 .. Also check ur plug wires in the process , the ones that plug into the switch its self!!!
