95 jeep Cherokee wont start

I bought my jeep a while ago it had been sitting in a
field for a couple year an I bought it put a tranny in
it ran fine for a day the next day I went to a friends
shut it off an would not start back up I would turn
the key on an off over an over again an It finally
started it starts up fine when it sits for a while if I
touch the distributor It shocks  me I have put a new
rotor bistributer cap an crank shaft sensor on it it's
still doing it I'm lost

An my distributor shocks me windows only work when they want to an its thoughing codes 12 an 54
