Spark from power wire under ignition switch

I got a 95 jepp cherokee country. They rigged the
starter to a button under the switch so it still
works. The fuel pump is good i ran a wire to the
battery to check it. Turned key. Heard it work. Ok
what happened is the previous owner had the hole
steering. Column bare. Under the ignition switch
thwre are a few between 4 to 6 wires and one was
loose. The second onaway from you if you are in
the seat my knee knocked it loose and my vehicle
shut down its happened before and i got it back it
and i could crank it but this time it was dark and i
seen a small spark guess i touched something else
with it now when i try it it won get fuel or fire
anymore. Help ive checked aeverything i could for
two days... I think its simple. But proble not. Not tje
best typer.... Shes all i got ive got all the tool and
