Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My driver side brake light does not work when I have my headlights on. It works fine when they are off. I replaced the bulb. That didn't help. What could be causing this?

It's not the bulb. Sounds like a case of crossed wires somewhere. Couldn't really be any other explanation. If I think of any other reason I'll let you know.

I actually resovled the issue. A very helpful gentlemen advised me to "massage" the cables. When I did, I actually found a kink in the wires. Once straightened out, the light works like a charm. Thanks Haaziq! Liz in CT
