The '94 is OBD I and the '99 is OBD II. That may make a difference. HTH. -Jim

good point Jim, who thinks of electronics...I too am stuck in a pull choke and pull throttle mechanical frame of mind...was astounded when the MINI had no accelerator cable...just a funky black box~~ready for the future>...apparently I am not~:(

You'll probably have to transfer the computer (PCM), wiring harnesses, sensors, etc. as well. -Jim

Ok so its best just to scrap it then

Sir what about a 96 will the transmission work in 99

a cruise-O-matic...you may try to shop for parts for each and see if they are the same~

measure the bell housings, bolt pattern and length...output shaft length and diameter bolt flange ring gear and flywheel...the same? ta da...it will work~

yeah both together...selector will poke out of the floor...mounts the same? you might have to look at these, but am fully confident the 5.0 and cruise-0-matic will go in together...no prob~

A '96 would be a safer bet. Both are OBD II. HTH. - Jim
