Is a 2004 grand Cherokee limited transmission
interchangeable with a 99 grand Cherokee limited?
The 2004 has the 4.0 engine. The 99 is a 4.7 v8

I would seriously doubt it. Too many years difference and different engines too. Remember that modern transmissions are computer controlled so the engine and transmission need to be compatible with your cars computer.
