power windows inop

I have a 99 Ford explorer and all the Windows
stopped working what could it be a fuse or relay

Yes. You may also have a faulty dr master window switch or the wires in the bundle at the dr door jam may have broken inside the rubber bootie. fuse 26 10 amp interior fuse panell and fuse 4 under the hood 30 amp power the windows and the relays associated with them. there is also the generic electronic controll module thats located behind the radio that controlls parts of this puzzle.

Do the simplest first. Check the fuses as recommended above. If good, use a multi meter to check for power to the fuse. If good, remove the drivers side door panel and check for power to the main switch with key on, engine off. If no power, check the condition of the wires leading to the switch inside the door and within the boot.
