i had the problem where when I shut my jeep off it wouldn't start afterwards,I had someone arc the starter so I could get it home.i checked everything,relays,starter,ignition,wiring,etc... The next day I checked my starter ground and found an issue, wasn't getting grounded properly.using the negative side of my jumper cables I attached one end to the starter body and the other to a bolt on the transmission...it started without issue! Removing the cable it would not start once again,so I made my own ground strap and grounded the starter to the engine block.everything worked fine for a couple weeks then it happened again,I had lights,gauges,radio,etc...but only a click under the hood, the next morning I found the culprit...broken ground ribbon from the firewall to the engine,I literally twisted the wire back together and have full power again.starts every time! I must admit though the only reason I found this was because I was about to wire a push button!
