Rainstorm and jeep liberty

Asked by GuruXFBXK Nov 18, 2018 at 08:38 PM about the 2003 Jeep Liberty Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty.
After a rainstorm, my car has an electrical issue.
In the dashboard the brake light, the ABS light and the airbag light is coming
on. My car keeps staling  and the RPM is going all the way up to 500. When I
step on the excelerator pedal, the engine just runs high but the car is not
getting faster. When I have to stop at a traffic light, my car runs slow and low
and it feels like it is about to die. After I go a few miles down the road, the car
is fine again, like nothing happend.
This only happens after a rainstorm, I have to say I like very much so to go
through paddles after a storm, has this something to do with htis?
Please help....
