2005 Yukon Denali-When I lock the doors manually or with the key fob the rear hatch and window do not lock. What is the cause?

If the doors are locked and you open the rear hatch or window the alarm goes off.

Either the wiring for the hatch lock is damaged somewhere or the lock assembly itself is bad. Start with a test light and see if you have power to the latch lock.
