2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7L - Will crank but not start

Asked by Mary May 31, 2020 at 12:43 PM about the 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently has trouble starting after getting warm but would start.  Two days ago,
it would turn over but not start.  Fuel pump primes (you can hear it) plus,
crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor have been replaced.
Battery is now weak but wasn't before.  Engine will now crank but not start.
Any ideas?  Thank you one and all!

Just had the same problem and read every forum to figure it out. Many parts later i can tell you it is one of two things. Ignition pin in steering column or wcm. To the security system also in steering column.
