Question type: Maintenance & Repair

In the last few weeks my heat only blows warm when my car is moving.  If I am stopped, it blows cool/cold air.  Any suggestions?

Check the coolant levels, when you are driving the water pump is working harder/spinning faster and is then able to create enough pressure to push coolant through the heater core, but at idle that drops off. So check the fluid levels, top it off is necessary and keep checking it to make sure you don't have a leak. If you had any recent work done on the coolant system you may have air trapped in the system preventing proper flow to the heater core, if that is the case it will have to be bled out.
