99 Ford Explorer 4x4

Asked by 5speed_explorer Dec 11, 2019 at 01:49 AM about the 1999 Ford Explorer 4 Dr Limited 4WD SUV

4x4 light lights up on dash when I turn the key
along with door ajar light both go off at the same
time when started and go on and off while vehicle is
running wondering if any relay or fuse controls this
and or if radio only working sometimes along with
windshield wipers working sometimes Any info
would be greatly appreciated

Fuses, relays and the computer control module controls everything on the vehicle. If you can replicate the problem with the engine running and standing still (in park), check the fuse box for obvious signs or corrosion. If you still have the owner's manual you should be able to determine the fuse number from listing in the back of the manual.
