Strong odor of gaz only at the ignition

The odor is not in the habitacle seems to
come from the motor.
Is it a big problem?

Thank you very much. I am in the process of buying an Eurovan camper 1999 and I was concern. Is it a major problem? What will ne the cost approximetely?

Have an inspection this coming Friday . I will definitely ask the mechanic to check the injectors and the cost$$. Thank you very much!
