I have a 2018 and the same thing has happened! It sounds like the horn of a small car now. I have no idea what happened. If you find the answer please email me jessicaworrall78@gmail.com

2015 F150 horn issue. Sent to service 5 separate times. Horn completely replaced 4 times. Never correct. On 5th service they did an in depth analysis & found approximately a tsp. of water inside the horn assembly causing the malfunction. Frequently use car washes but NEVER utilize under body option. Dealership states poorly made horns utilized & poor design manufacturing. Now looking for solutions to avoid water from entering.

same problem...my sync did an update and coincidentally changed the sound of my horn!! Totally bizarre, called ford Tech support...totally useless...they put me through to my local Ford dealer...made me do a factory reset, all that did was to screw up the radio.
