Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What would cause my 2017 F150's tail lights and back up lights to work
intermittently?  Also, when I was checking the rear signals I noticed the
license plate lights blinking but the turn signal wasn't.  Rear turn signals will
work for a second and quit, then work again.  Put the transmission in reverse
and back up lights may or may not come and may or may not stay on if they
do come on.

A bad wire connection to the cargo box area is my guess. Also check grounds at the rear of the truck if any.
