How do you remove the shifter from a 1991 Trooper when changing the clutch?

I have everything else removed in preparation for changing my clutch, I just need to know how to remove the shifter.

If you cant drop the tranny without removing the shifter then you have to figure out how it comes out. If your shifter goes directly into the trans without any linkage then you should be able to take off the top plate surrounding it.
