In my 2017 Edge, should I be hearing a constant fan noise when I turn on the front heated/cooled seats? It is quite annoying and I am being told that it is the fans running in the seats.

If this was the dealers answer I think you are stuck with the noise. Is there a fan speed setting or is it a single speed system?

We have the same issue. When using the seat cooling feature, it sounds line the A/C is on full blast. Looking for corrective action. My F150 is very quiet.

Yes this is the seat heater/cooler. I have no idea why it makes the sound but it is so annoying that I will never buy another Ford and can't wait to sell mine. Ridiculous. What moron designer thought people would want to listen to this???

We just took our '16 Flex to the dealer (Larry Miller Ford, Salt Lake City) to look onto the noisy seat heating fan. Their response: "Yes that's the sound of the fan working. You should only worry if you don't hear the fan!" What a load of crap. From my internet searching, this is NOT an uncommon problem. Evidently, also uncommon are helpful Ford dealerships.
