Did you have to pay out of pocket?Did it fix the problem. Thanks for any info

Sorry that you got an initial DUMB response. Try this instead. Honda automatic transmissions have never been the greatest of performers. To check on your specific issue though, go to consumer reports online. Then check vehicle recalls and reference the Honda Accord. If there is any kind of a recall past or pending, it will be there. Also, it will give specific instrions on what the consumer action should be. Good luck with the tranny.

I have a white 4dr 2006 v6 6speed. I have 46,000 on my ride and I have never had that problem at all. Is it under warranty??

I have not heard anything about there being a problem with it, this is the first. There are no recalls as far as I know either. My 2004 has close to 100k on it and going to strong! About to change out the timing belt just to make sure. Maybe it was just that particular car? Its been a while, were you able to find one you like?
