turn by turn nav directions in front of driver on 2017 Civic EX disappeared

Asked by GuruBQSW5 Jan 08, 2019 at 03:01 PM about the 2017 Honda Civic EX

Question type: General

I have a one year old Honda Civic EX without navigation.  For most of the
first year, when I was using navigation through Android Auto, turn directions
would appear in the driver info interface area (directly in front of the driver) as
well as on the display screen.  A couple of months ago, that stopped.  Nav
with Android Auto still works, with directions on the display screen, but they
no longer show up in front of the driver in the "odometer" area.

Clarification (in case it's not obvious) .... How can I get this feature back? I like it. By the way, I've tried the "reboot" process. It didn't help. Thanks
