Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2017 Tucson and noticed several times
driving in sport mode I’ve been having some
issues with the acceleration. When I push down on
the gas petal there’s a delay very slow acceleration
then after about 3 seconds it kicks in. I only have
19k. I’m hoping it’s not the transmission. Any
thoughts

Get it to a mechanic to see if it’s throwing off any codes, sounds like it’s it’s going into “limp mode”. Might just need the firmware flashed, (Reloaded).
