I put a new battery and now it has no power at all when I turn the ignition what could be the problem

It all started when I would go to turn the car on it would start hard like if the
battery was going dead the lights would turn on dim the windows would roll up
and down slowly so I went and bought a new battery when I installed the new
battery now I turn the ignition and nothing happens no power at all no lights and
windows well not work at all no power what so ever what could this be cHELP
PLEASE

Get a multimeter and see if it's dead. If not make sure the negative and positive terminals are hooked up to the RIGHT TERMINALS. Red with + and black with -. The only thing I can think of is if you installed it backwards. Or the connection to the battery terminals isn't secure enough.
